The Modern Art Gallery commissioned a series of abstract compositions that would explore the relationship between negative space and form using only black and white tones.
The challenge was to create visually striking pieces that conveyed depth and movement while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic that would complement the gallery's architectural space.
Drawing inspiration from the works of Franz Kline and Cy Twombly, I developed a series of hand-drawn compositions that emphasized gestural mark-making and the interplay between bold strokes and delicate lines.
Each piece was initially sketched by hand, then refined digitally while preserving the spontaneous quality of the original drawings.

"This project challenged me to reduce my visual language to its most essential elements. By limiting myself to black and white and focusing on the quality of line and form, I discovered new ways to create depth and movement within a minimalist framework."
The exhibition received critical acclaim and led to a series of commissioned works for private collectors. The process reinforced my belief in the power of restraint and the importance of negative space as an active element in composition.
